Lit is set to release their sixth album, The View From The Bottom, on June 19th on Megaforce Records. The new album does its due service, at least in part, in chronicling the events of their past eight years, still together, but dealing with situations for which the word heavy would be a glaring understatement.

The View From The Bottom is the unmistakable sound of a great rock band getting on with it, and doing so with reverence for those they’ve lost, a healthy modicum of danger, and not to mention, a sense of fun.

It’s the band’s first studio album in 8 years, so they are looking for fans to create Lit skateboard designs to help with the promotion of the album.

Three designers will have their skate decks made as a limited run. Each winner will receive their very own designed skate deck, plus a Lit prize pack. Still Lost, Volume 1, a collection of unreleased material, alternate versions, and demos by The Features is available for free download via NoiseTrade. New album, Wilderness, out June 5th.

The Features are a Nashville-based combo signed to Kings of Leon‘s label, Serpents and Snakes. Their music has been featured in ad campaigns for Asics Shoes and their current single, “How It Starts,” is currently being featured in commercials for the 2013 Ford Mustang.

This collection accompanies the second annual DigiTour-a large-scale music tour featuring some of the biggest self-made YouTube stars. This year’s stellar lineup includes the Internet’s most popular musicians and personalities who have a combined two billion views and 10 million subscribed fans.
