audio ‘stache: Cirque du Soleil Presents “Whenever,” A New Song Inspired By Zarkana

Cirque du Soleil presents “Whenever” an original song inspired by Zarkana, a new acrobatic rock opera that blends circus arts with the surreal. “Whenever” is the result of a collaboration between Sir Elton John for music and Nick Littlemore (Zarkana Composer and Music Director) for lyrics. There are two versions of the song, which is sung by Zarkana artists Garou (“Zark”) and Cassiopée (“Lia”). Side A‘s version is produced by legendary Broadway producer Phil Ramone, and Side B‘s version is produced by the acclaimed Sydney-based electronic duo PNAU (Nick Littlemore and Peter Mayes). For a limited time, both versions are available for a free download on the Cirque du Soleil website.

Zarkana performs for a limited engagement at New York’s Radio City Music Hall through October 8, 2011 before heading to Madrid on November 9, 2011 and Moscow on February 4, 2012. For tickets, go to cirquedusoleil.com/zarkana, ticketmaster.com or call 1-866-858-0008.
