buzz ‘stache: Entertainment Weekly is Stoked for ‘Doom Folk’ from MUMFORD & SONS in 2012

EW features MUMFORD & SONS in their latest issue, on stands today!

Mumford & Sons is finishing up their highly anticipated new album, due sometime this year.   The magazine ranked the album among the ’10 Albums We Can’t Wait For.’

Mumford & Sons have been nominated in 4 categories of the 54th Grammy Awards. All 4 nominations are for the band’s second US single The Cave, from their debut album Sigh No More.  The categories are: Record Of The Year, Song Of The Year, Best Rock Performance, Best Rock Song.

The band  recently told Rolling Stone the new album is  “…doom folk, kind of like Black Sabbath meets Nick Drake.”   So you can safely say, we here at ‘stache are extremely stoked as well!
