“P!nk is a good friend of mine and we always wanted to do something together, but the timing never worked out because of her insane schedule,” says Big B. “For this album everything just worked out as she had the time to work on a track together with Butch Walker. It was cool mesh my writing style with theirs, and the song we created together turned out to be one of my favorite songs on the record.”

Big B‘s new album Fool’s Gold features musical collaborations with Slightly Stoopid, The Dirty Heads, and members of legendary punk outfits NOFX and Pennywise. The end result is a collection of songs that are just as contagious as Big B‘s thuggish charm. With the entire music industry focused on finding the next huge star on reality television, Big B has taken a back-to-basics approach on Fool’s Gold and filled it with fun spirited songs that can fit into any music lover’s playlist. The album is rich is musical diversity and is cleverly inventive, as Big B seamlessly bridges the gap between rock, hip-hop, and alternative.

live ‘stache: The Explosive Rock Power Of IAMDYNAMITE Is Coming To Your Town

October 29, 2012 Leave a comment

IAMDYNAMITE will share the stage with Sum 41 on the Canadian rock band’s tour from October 31st to mid-December.

High-energy duo IAMDYNAMITE will be joining Sum 41 on the Canadian punk rockers’ upcoming North American tour. The jaunt begins 10/31 in Indianapolis, IN and concludes 12/16 in Austin, TX, where the band will be playing a Christmas radio show. Their debut album, Supermegafantastic, was released earlier this year and the two Chrises have spent all summer slaying crowds across the U.S. and Europe, winning raves for their sweaty, intense live performances. The duo rocks as hard as a band three times their size!

A full list of tour dates is below.

When Chris Martin (guitar/vocals) and Chris Phillips (drums/vocals,) the animated personalities who make up IAMDYNAMITE, aren’t busy wooing fans with their raucous live performances or exchanging sweaty hugs with new friends on the road, they keep themselves busy making cool music videos. Their latest clip, “Where Will We Go,” takes viewers on a wild ride (on a two-person bicycle!) through the lens of a GoPro camera. The manic black and white video for“Stereo,” the radio hit that put Supermegafantastic on the map, is reminiscent of the White Stripes and showcases  IAMDYNAMITE‘s unique brand of infectious rock.

“Another One” is the latest single from their album Wilderness and is climbing at radio, where it is receiving spins in Washington DC, Kansas City, Milwaukee, and their hometown of Nashville. The Ryan Newman-directed video received a premiere on MTV Buzzworthy, and was recently named AOL Spinner’s Video of the Day. MTV notes: In a possible outtake from “Honey, We Shrunk The Rock Band,” the Nashville quartet delivers the hooky track (which feels like the Talking Heads synced up with The Cars) from the safety of a mouse-sized hole in the wall until our lovelorn protagonists outsmart them and put this whole of-mice-and-men thing to bed.

Wilderness has established The Features as one of the most exciting and imaginative bands working today.  Songs like “How It Starts,” which was featured in a national Ford Mustang Spot, “Another One” and “Fats Domino” are marvels of pop ingenuity, animated by vivid lyrics, unshakable hooks, and experimental soul. Wilderness is an amalgamation of influences and inspirations – spanning elements of Krautrock, indie, psychedelia, and classic AOR – to conjure up The Features‘ own inimitable, indescribable sound.
