live ‘stache: The SUPERMEGAFANTASTIC Adventures of IAMDYNAMITE Continue

December 7, 2012 1 comment

IAMDYNAMITE extend their tour until February as “Where Will We Go” hits the Top 40 on Billboard’s Alternative Chart.

iamdynamite live
After spending much of 2012 criss-crossing the country, the energetic twosome IAMDYNAMITE will be hitting the road once again at the top of 2013. Chris and Chris will be on the West Coast for a string of dates, starting in San Diego (where their latest single, “Where Will We Go,” is the #1 most played song on 91X) and concluding on February 2nd in Dallas, Texas. A full list of dates can be found below, and tickets for all dates are on sale as of today, December 7th.

IAMDYNAMITE‘s debut album, SUPERMEGAFANTASTIC, is a must-hear record. says,”IAMDYNAMITE have a knack for catchy, rhythmically infectious punk-pop and garage rock anthems that grab your attention with an all-caps energy that’s hard to turn away from,” while Absolute Punk reports that “They clearly have a good time on their journey without dumbing their music down.” Huffington Post, meanwhile, counts SUPERMEGAFANTASTIC as “among this year’s best.”

When Chris Martin (guitar/vocals) and Chris Phillips (drums/vocals,) the animated personalities who make up IAMDYNAMITE, aren’t busy wooing fans with their raucous live performances or exchanging sweaty hugs with new friends on the road, they keep themselves busy making cool music videos. The clip for their current single,“Where Will We Go”, takes viewers on a wild ride (on a two-person bicycle!) through the lens of a GoPro camera. “Where Will We Go” recently debuted in the Top 40 of Billboard’s Alternative Rock tracks chart, and is gaining steam at radio. The manic black and white video for “Stereo”, the radio hit that put SUPERMEGAFANTASTIC on the map, is reminiscent of the White Stripes and showcases IAMDYNAMITE‘s unique brand of infectious rock.

The Lone Bellow release “You Never Need Nobody” from their self-titled album, due out January 22nd on Descendant Records.

Soulful Brooklyn folk-rock outfit The Lone Bellow has released its first album track “You Never Need Nobody” to the public along with their first music video. “You Never Need Nobody” is taken from the band’s forthcoming self-titled album out on January 22nd via Descendant Records. Hailing from Brooklyn via south of the Mason-Dixon, The Lone Bellow (formerly known as Zach Williams & The Bellow) has established an exuberant following via live shows in New York and across the country during their stint opening for Grammy Winners The Civil Wars.

Williams and the band’s music evolved to reflect his Southern roots, incorporating elements of rock, gospel, country and blues that result in a unique and soul-searing blend of can’t-get-them-out-of-your-head lyrics that spring from a deep emotional reservoir. The upcoming record is a complete work, a “collection of stories embodying tragedy, hope, betrayal and redemption.”
